Welcome to Reporting To No One

This travel blog aims to serve the large, like-minded community of empty nesters, retirees, couples, singles, divorcees, widows and widowers who, like me, find themselves reporting to no one, and, blessed with sound mind, health and wallet, have the capacity to devour this special phase of life. Whatever your circumstances, this blog is a hub that celebrates travel, friendship, conversation and curiosity for all those journeying through this empowering season of freedom.

My role as a travel writer is to check out destinations, make silly mistakes, and share the great finds, with the intention that you avoid similar pitfalls and benefit from my best discoveries. The idea is to enjoy travel adventures together so I’d love your feedback and requests, and to learn what recommendations, tips and experiences you’d like help with. I hope Reporting To No One becomes a forum for you to participate in too by sharing your ideas, thoughts and travel stories with me. Or simply use this place to say hi.

  1. LOVED travelling with you in Jordan and Egypt! I definitely need to plan a trip to come back to NZ one of these days. So many places to see, so little time (and money)!!

  2. As someone who still reports to everyone I’m looking forward to living vicariously via someone who doesn’t report to anyone 😁
